AN EVENING WITH JANE LYNCH
Friday, October 19, 7:45pm, Broadway Performance Hall
Whether ad-libbing in Christopher Guest mockumentaries (BEST IN SHOW, FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION, A MIGHTY WIND), guest-starring on various TV shows (The L Word, Two and a Half Men, Criminal Minds) or popping up with the best lines in feature films (THE 40-YEAR OLD VIRGIN, TALLADEGA NIGHTS), Jane Lynch has quickly become one of Hollywood's most memorable—and hilarious—scene-stealers. She has also appeared in over a dozen queer short films that quickly became staples on the film festival circuit. In fact, the mention of one of her roles almost always elicits the same response: "Oh, that's Jane Lynch—I LOVE her!"
The sought-after actress (who will also be in Seattle to receive the HRC's Equality Award at their annual dinner) will be sitting still—well, maybe not—when she is interviewed live by PlanetOut's Jenny Stewart. We'll enjoy film clips of some of Jane's greatest performances, plus hear about her latest projects. And, if there's anything you've always wanted to ask Lynch, now's your chance—the night will also feature an extended audience Q&A.
