Itty Bitty Titty Committee

ITTY BITTY TITTY COMMITTEE
sunday october 21 7:00pm

Set to the electrifying music of Olympia’s Sleater-Kinney, Bikini Kill and Le Tigre, with a visual punk-rock aesthetic inspired by 1990s D.I.Y. music videos, ITTY BITTY TITTY COMMITTEE is an unforgettable ode to freedom, rebellion, sex, and grrl power.

Wickedly talented director Jamie Babbit (BUT I’M A CHEERLEADER) creates another memorable piece of queer culture with this romantic and sassy comedy which follows the exploits of an underground guerilla feminist collective, devoted to bringing down the patriarchy one sexist bikini billboard at a time.

Our heroine is the adorably lost baby-dyke Anna (played with pitch-perfect wry humor by Melonie Diaz from RAISING VICTOR VARGAS) who is busy moping over her recent break-up, answering phones at a breast-implant center and slouching through dress fittings for her sister’s Big Straight Latino Wedding. When she catches sexy Sadie (Nicole Vicius, HALF NELSON) defacing her office with anti boobjob graffiti, Anna suddenly finds a new purpose in life. Sadie reveals herself to be an operative of the feminist guerrilla group C(i)A (Clits in Action) and Anna accepts her invitation to join. It doesn’t take long for the estrogen to go into overdrive, but the romance that ignites between Anna and Sadie during a crucial assignment threatens to upset the delicate order of the merry anarchist pranksters, including Sadie’s longtime sugar mama Courtney (Melanie Mayron, thirtysomething).

Boasting an all-star lesbian supporting cast including Daniela Sea (The L Word), Guinevere Turner, and Melanie Lynskey, plus cameos by Clea Duvall and Jenny Shimizu, Jamie Babbit’s ITTY BITTY TITTY COMMITTEE is an irreverent crowd-pleaser, roaring with punk-rock feminist attitude and the righteous indignation needed to take action and change the world.
